David Beckham has reportedly turned down an £8 million pound switch to Newcastle. Speculation has been rife in recent weeks that Real Madrid manager Wanderley Luxemburgo has been looking to ship Beckham out, with Santos Robinho mooted as a possible replacement.
However it seems Beckham has turned down the move. Beckham is quoted as saying: "I could never join Newcastle after what the Toon-Army has done to South East Asia".
and chelsea said they didn't want him, Utd should get him back

no suprise really, newcastle are shite and a mid table team, as much as i think beckham is overated he's way too good for them plus he said if he ever came back to england it'd be to united but saying that he wont return to united whilst fergies still in charge i gurantee that
"I could never join Newcastle after what the Toon-Army has done to South East Asia".
^ ha ha, when i first heard i thoght they said toon army, i heard a toon army has flooded the streets, and thought newcastle fans had gone on a rampage

It was quite obvious, really. I mean, a player who moves from Real madrid to Newcastle United, well, erm, no offense but...
