Frakes And Sirtis To Appear In 'Enterprise' Finale?

Paramount may be planning a shocker for the Enterprise season finale: a special guest appearance by former Next Generation stars Jonathan Frakes (William T. Riker) and Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi).

The news was first reported on the long-running official web site of Sirtis. "Marina and Jonathan Frakes will reprise their roles as guest stars on Enterprise season finale," the site's administrator wrote in an announcement posted on the message board of the site. The adminstrator then went on to announce several upcoming personal appearances by Sirtis, including one at the Superstar Autograph Show in Valley Forge, Pa, at the end of May.

TrekToday sources have confirmed that a deal between the studio and Sirtis is indeed currently in the works.

Both Frakes and Sirtis have previously made guest appearances on other Trek series besides The Next Generation. Frakes appeared as Lieutenant Thomas Riker on Deep Space Nine's "Defiant," and then appeared as the regular Riker in Voyager's "Death Wish." Sirtis had a recurring role during the final seasons of Star Trek: Voyager, often appearing together with Dwight Schultz (Reginald Barclay). The last time both Frakes and Sirtis made an appearance in the Trek universe was Star Trek: Nemesis, at the end of which their characters were married and preparing to embark on a new career aboard the U.S.S. Titan.

Enterprise showrunner Manny Coto recently revealed the series' season finale was being written by Rick Berman and Brannon Braga, but provided no information on the episode's storyline. The episode would presumably start filming in early March.

Please note that the above information has not been confirmed by Paramount Pictures or UPN and until such time you should treat this as you would any other rumour.

Yeah I've been on cruise control on wathcing Enterprise until the mid third season. Now that Season 4 has come out the show is salvagable but rumors are abound that it'll be cancelled. I'd like to see a full 7 season run like the other series. Manny Coto has really turned around the show and tried to patch up all the holes.

Well, I didn't like enterprise as much as any of the other series...I found it just hard to watch.

Well, I didn't like enterprise as much as any of the other series...I found it just hard to watch. Some of the earlier episodes that tried to integrate species from the later eras just hurt to watch. What I'd like to see Enterprise do is show us what happened in the Earth/Romulan Wars and the founding of the Federation. It's always mentioned later on but now we have an actual chance to visit and see it for ourselves other than references.

^I agree, I would definately watch that episode. But as of now earth is like a little weakling, for them to go to war in this series, seemingly out of the blue would work...I'd expect them to loss badly, from what I've seen.

What I'd like to see is the rest of the human starfleet.

They kinda made it seem like earth didn't have a starfleet for a long time...maybe that's why I think they'd lose. Should be interesting regaurdless though.

^exactly, and that's what the series is based on. So war would really seem random.

Season 4 has been great so far. I'm looking foward to the mirror universe episode with the Constitution class USS Intrepid, that vanished in the Tholian web (Original Star Trek episode). Manny Coto is doing a great job.

If you wanna save Enterprise, put this in your sig now! (Take out the *)
