Towercam of Alltel Stadium for SuperBowl

This is a time-delayed camera from the WJXT TV tower on the opposite side of the river fromt eh stadium. The cam will change angles from time to time from the stadium to downtown.

Give it about 10-20 minutes and it will change to downtown. I've seen 7 different images so far and they are all either the stadium or downtown.

The tower is TV channel 4 and it's zoomed all the way in at the competition, channel 12.

Wonder how long that will stay once a TV 4 exec sees it?

That part of Jacksonville is gorgeous at night. Kinda looks like where I live at night.

Also, Jimmy, you heard of Lex and Terry? I think their radio show originated in Jacksonville.

Wait until that camera pans around to downtown. This camera will be live from now on and you can see the construction of about 4 skyscrapers in one of the frames. I'll definetly keep an eye on their progress.

Now I know how I am going to watch the SuperBowl. I was thinking about throwing a party for the game, but I think I will sit in from of my computer and watch these live shots instead. I might be able to make something out. Not really. Cool find though.

Yeah. Cruise ships will be sailing under it like this one and docking downtown.

They said clearence was 7 feet.

Angle maybe?...well, it's not so bad, but the stupid little part on the top makes it looks close to touching it.

It's over 170 feet tall so 7 feet looks like it's scraping it in the pic.
