man, that game was damn good! wake played awesomely, i'm so glad they won. I really hate duke, but I swear reddick is the best shooter in the nation right now, and probably one of the best all time shooters. That white boy is damn good! anyway, it was an awesome game and a big night for the ACC. Wake and Duke are now tied for 2nd in the ACC, behind UNC of course ;).

They beat UNC by 13 but Duke stayed around and fought their asses off even with their shitty bench and their two injured players, the one superstar that fouled out, and their one player that wasn't full strength...interesting...

I could complain about some of the officiating (for both sides, since I really like both teams) but I won't, because being a sore loser is not cool. Congratulations to Wake Forest for being the better team.

Wake played better against us than they did against Duke though. I mean, they didn't miss a free throw against us.

I think UNC is better than both Duke and Wake, but I'll guess we'll have to see.

Anyway, something I didn't like from Chris Paul was when after the game he proclaimed essentially that "it really isn't a big deal when they [Wake Forest] beat Duke or UNC anymore." Really? That would explain why they billed the game versus us as "the biggest game in school history." I hate bullshit lol, and I hope during the tournaments we put Wake Forest in their place.

That's like the ultimate form of bullshit. There's a reason for that, you know...it's called "defense." Duke has always, and will always, be an excellent defensive team.

I thought UNC was better than both before this game, now I'd say that Illinois is still BY FAR the best team in the country, then I can't decide between Wake and UNC for a second, and Duke is somewhere slightly below them.

^ I can't necessarily disagree with the ranking of the teams you proposed, as it is quite logical, but what I meant and pointed out was that Wake made 32/32 FT's against us, and I don't believe they pulled a stunt like that against Duke. Duke can't guard the free throw.

Wow that was an awesome game. I was wondering what you guys were going so say since Wake has now beat UNC and Duke. I guess they get there chance to beat us later. Anyway, I will be pulling for my pack tonight. The odds are againsts us, but I have to pull for my team, even when we are down.

I love how duke fans make up the gayest excuses, even when the experts say UNC is no doubt the best ACC team, they still come up with bullshit. Suzuki is a prime example of a true blue devils fan...but I can't blame him, he can't help it. They all are like that.

Er, Goku, I remember some of the fouls called against us in the Wake game were BS.

In any case, yeah, Wake went to the line against us a lot, had 32 FT shot attempts...but my point is that they made all of them, were 100%. Against Duke, they only had a .696 FT average. Sounds silly maybe, but that makes a big difference in a tight game.

BTW, the ESPN announcers were all picking Carolina over Wake on a neutral court, which was the opinion I have held for weeks now. Interesting. ;)

Also, the only commentator who was asked to pick between Illinois and Carolina in the same situation picked Carolina. BOOYAH!

Doesn't really mean much, but it has a hell of a lot more weight then when a couple of Duke fanboys proclaim that Wake is better than Carolina. ;)

duke fanboys suck...whenever duke is better then UNC I will admit it, the only game I'd care about is carolina vs duke, which never matters how good the teams are, it's always a great game. Us unc fanboys will admit that duke is a good team and always are...because it's a fact they are always a dominating team in the whole nation.

i'm one of the biggest duke fans but honestly duke isn't suppose to be nowhere near the top of the acc this year but because they have great coaching they do so well...

n.c. needs to play better transition defense that's why they lost to wake...if they can do that then they'll win the whole damn thing...

wake needsta close out games better cause they had duke by 14 and still almost lost the game....

my pick out of those 3 to get the farthest in the tourney is UNC just because they have a superstar line-up and a deep bench

I agree man, but wake and duke are both great great teams. I'm a UNC fan true and through. But I'm also a true ACC fan. We dominate.

yea they try to say the big east better than the acc...but i'm tellin u put the teams at the bottom of the acc like (uva,vtech,miami,ncstate) in any other conference and they'd dominate fareal

yeah, there really isn't a bad team in the ACC...maryland and NCST are usually ranked, they are just having a bad season. Miami can hold it's own and so can Ga tech and vtech.

Illinois deserves #1. and UNC deserves #2. Suzuki and I have already stated that UNC is a better team this year, but Duke is still doing suprisingly well for what tehy've got. They play some of the toughest D around.

Just to clear things up, I am not a Duke "fanboy." I've been a Duke fan since the day I came out of the womb, my entire family has always been Duke fans, and I don't like them because theyr'e good. I supported them even when Coach K was out due to health problems and they sucked huge dick.

I can't tell if I was being called a fanboy or not so I just went ahead and cleared that little mess up.

And yes, the ACC > you.
