A-Rod is batting .160. Mussina, the staff ace, 0-2 with an 11 ERA. And the Banks are 3-4. How long into this 3-year, 16.5 (?) million dollar contract will Torre last?

Any year the Yankees don't win the World Series is considered a bad year by big George. He fails to see the brightness in anything. Torre will be canned if they don't win it all this season, and most definately if they don't go far in the playoffs.

I think the same goes for Cashman. And if the Yankee sticks don't revive, Donnie Baseball will take the same route.

What the Yankees need to do is trade Jose Contrease (SP) for sombody like C.C. Sabithia who would be a 20+ game winner but doesnt get many decisions due to their bulpen who cant hold a lead. I think as long as Torre wants to stay with the Yankees, he will be the head coach their. And if he does get fired. Many New Yorkers will be pissed.
