Watching that game last night was hard on my nerves and gave this grey-haired 43 year old less to comb. :stupid: One thing I was pleased to see, as the game went on, was that TO didn't try to instigate anything extra. We made solid, yet un-hilight reel, hits and that was EXACTLY what was needed. Don't give them, or their fans, ANY reason to get stirred up. Now add in lots to things to s-l-o-w the game down. Whistles for damn near ANY reason, lots of clearing pucks merely bounced off the glass as they left our zone, and lots of clogging up the boards. Keeps flow to a minimum and, more importantly, allowed us have the exact guys we neede on the ice as time clicked down. Every whistle was music/ears. Eddie just kept covering up the rebounds..and the clock just kept counting down......

It was a flawless effort by Belfour! He played great over these last couple of games.
