What are your thoughts, guys? I think Archie is a dick for this. I even heard Eli will sit out the season if the Chargers take him. **** him... I don't see why a QB would want to go to the NY Giants and their equator O-line.

Archie shouldn't have poked his nose into his sons business like this just because he doesn't like SD's team this year. I hope SD goes and wins 10 Super Bowls in a row now.

Well if I was Manning, any Manning, I'd want to go to the Giants rather than San Diego, Arizona, or Oakland. The Giants aren't as much a mess as those other three teams.

Of course he does. He's the influence on the top rated QB in the draft. He also basically controls the agent and the agent controls everything.

I'd rather go to the sunny-weather of San Diego, California and get mentored by Doug Flutie. After all, he knows what it takes to win. Who would Eli get mentored by with the Giants? Yes, Jason Garrett does have a Super Bowl ring, but he's a third stringer. Yeah, there is too much pressure to succeed in New York...

Well, Kerry Collins did take them to a Super Bowl. And it's not like Doug Flutie has done that.

Well it seems like for some reason SD liked Phillip Rivers a lot... what they should have done is worked out this deal with NY with sending them Eli and getting all the extra picks. Then dealing the unused 4th pick to someone above Pit (who we all knew would take the best available QB) and by doing that SD would have had even more picks to choose from. Rumor has it CLE was offering rd1 and rd2 to NYG for pick #4 before they backed out so SD could have gotten Rivers at #7 and an extra pick in the deal. But hindsight is 20/20

I hate the Manning family even more now...it used to just be Peyton, but now i hope for eli to be a bust.
