So what does everyone think will happen this coming offseason? Will they sign a new collective bargaining agreement?

I think they have no choice. Look at what happened to the MLB in the mid-'90s. A sport that was doing well was crippled, and is still recovering, because of a shortened season, imagine what this would do to the struggling NHL.

NBA got pretty rocked in the late nineties too :( I say this drags out til an 11th hour agreement. The big thing on my mind is:

"Will ownership shell out enough to keep St. Louis happy in TB?"
