It's all the buzz but I find many Sens fans are on the fence over this. Being a Leaf fan this idea makes me extremely nervous. He may be past his prime but he can still steal the show and, for a season, i'd take a chance on him if I was them. Lalime will not be back. If he is allowed to play again then Muckler should be fired. No matter how well he did ALL regular season the whispers would always be following him and that could do more damage than you think. Seeing Hasek in Ottawa would make me very nervous indeed. Any Leaf fan who laughs it off is fooling himself. I hope he just goes back to Europe very quietly.

he should just retire IMO

I think he's getting to the point where he's going to be injured more than he's healthy on a consistent basis. That is of course assuming you don't think he's already there.

But of course, nobody may be playing next year.

it's hard for me to imagine Hasek as anything but a Sabre and Red Wing. We'll see where he ends up though.

Hopefully it's so... get him out of here. Good riddance. As long as he doesn't go to St. Louis or Chicago, I'll be satisfied with his departure.

He doesn't realize that he needs to just retire.

Aren't the Senators bankrupt?
