It's been a few days now and there are still huge names out there. Makes me wonder if gms aren't staying quiet to drive the price down. We all figured things to be slow but this is surprising. Guess the likely strike has scared off many but, someday, there's gotta be hockey and they'll be playing somewhere.

The big names nobody wants -- and who can blame them? Eric Lindros' agent is his own father, that just explains it all. The only free agents I would consider highely of are Glen Murray, Mike Grier, Jason Allison, and Anson Carter. Other than that, the others I'm not too fond of.

It'll be interesting to see how much Kariya figures he's worth. I'm thinking he's gonna out-price himself but not making Team Canada may have made him realize he's not the superstar he once was.

Kariya isn't as good as he is. I mean, when he and Selanne were with the Ducks, they were a lot more skilled, a lot faster, but in Colorado, did they really think they would be the centre of the offence? They should go to a place like Washington...
