Can he get some props. I mean he is THE only player on his team right now and still averaged 6.5 RPG, 5.1 APG, and 23.0 PPG last year. Thats just about the same as some guy named Kobe, but I don't know.

I like him a lot - he'd get some attention anywhere else, though. :(

Paul Pierce IS the Celtics. It's his team, and he has no supporting cast although Ricky Davis is pretty nice.

Wanna take that back about Ricky? I would. He maybe athletic but he doesn't know what he's doin out there. Look at him when he was in Cleveland.

Thats why the Celtics will never make the playoffs. The front office wont lay of the booze and drugs because they cant draft worth crap lately and dont make very smart trades throughout the season.
Paul Peirce is a little overrated. He cannot take a team to the playoffs by himself, he isnt that good. He isnt Kobe Bryant or Kevin Garnett who can lead teams to the playoffs by themselves.

What makes it even more sad is that Peirce is in the East, so he should be able to take his team to the playoffs, i mean, IVerson did it a few times.

Excuse me, but when did Kobe lead a team to the playoffs? He didn't. Shaq did, so get that strait.

Now we can all enjoy the Lakers demise, which will be caused by the whole left by Shaq. *nod*

Shaq made it easier for Kobe, he didn't make him better. Players like Jason Kidd and Kevin Garnett make players better, Shaq make stuff easier.

Pierce is IMO a top 3 shooting guard. Good scorer and rebounder because of that strength and athletism, but average passer on a superstar basis, usually. Had an average assist-turnover ratio. But this year is crazy for him, 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. If he can keep it up, he could end up MVP, but doubt he can.
