View Full Version : Paul Konerko is...

underrated; no?
He's currently batting .287, with 28 homeruns and 74 RBIs. With Mags and Frank out, he's a big part of what's holding the strong White Sox offense together, leading the team in homeruns and RBIs. His career high in homeruns is 32, and he will for sure pass that mark. 28 homeruns...that's up there with the big sluggers. All I'm trying to say is that I think he is underrated. If Mags and Frank weren't hurt, the Sox would be in 1st. Right now they're in 2nd. If Konerko can hit his way to .300, 40 homeruns, and 120 RBIs and lead the Sox to the playoffs, then he will surely be noticed...

Konerko is haing an unbelievable year, I knew of course because I have followed Konerko this season, he is one of my favorite players. He said he was going after a power stroke this year and it seemed to have worked for him. Definitely underrated. Drew is probably the most underrated player in the league right now, he is putting up near MVP numbers and nobody even notices him. I guess I'll throw my own out there, Jose Guillen. Kinda lost in the Angels offense and not too many people realize this guy is just tearing up the field.

Well Konerko has dipped off a bit of late, but is still having an awesome season.
I found a name today that should be the most underrated player in the MLB right now... how about Burnitz?

Burnitz is having a good year, but he is helped out by the Coors effect.

Incase anybody doesn't know. Miguel Tejada is the first person this year to hit 100, not Scott Rolen. Its time we start talking about him for MVP again. He been a great Overall player.

Aaron Rowand? Not many people have heard about this guy except for the real baseball junkies (like us ;) ) Hitting .300, is stealing bases, and has respectable power numbers

Arron Rowand is just one of the best on the White Sox. Paul Konerko is doing ok but Rowand is by far better than he is and ever will be. *nod*

No way he is underrated he is the best on the White Sox and I cant believe he didnt make the All-star team. He is my favorite player of all-time.

How about Matt Lawton (most people who have been on other sites with me know why i say this)?
20 HR, 70 RBI, 23 SB, .277 BA, .787 OPS. Maybe not breathe takin numbers, but numbers any team could use in their lineup.
