Bulls are my hometown team. I would've written an article about it but it's not a big trade. anywho...

August 5, 2004 -- The Chicago Bulls announced today that they have re-signed guard Jamal Crawford and traded him and forward Jerome Williams to the New York Knicks in exchange for center Dikembe Mutombo, forward Othella Harrington, guard Frank Williams and center Cezary Trybanski.

I personally think the Bulls did good on this one. Sure, Crawford was their top scorer..he was a ballhog. The Junk Yard Dog I wanted to stay on the team though; he's pretty good. I don't know why they wanted Mutombo..he's old and they still have Curry, Chandler, and Antonio Davis. If anything I would've added Davis, take out Mutombo, and put in Kurt Thomas

Go Bulls

Absolutely no way the Knicks do that.

They took Mutombo because he is in the last year of his contract.

The Bulls will never be that same greatness they were with MJ & company.

not if they keep making trades like they have been. I mean who the **** trades players like Artest and Brand. Honestly, sometimes i think they are trying to suck.

Heh.

The Chicago Bulls acquire veteran guard/forward Eric Piatkowski, guard/forward Adrian Griffin and guard Mike Wilks from the Houston Rockets in exchange for center Dikembe Mutombo.

So much for Mutombo lol. The Bulls have a lot of guards now...

A lot of the Bulls trades never make sense for their team. Paxson says he wants to improve the team, but trading away Artest, Brand, and Crawford doesn't do that. Sorry.

See in Chicago we have learned that whatever Paxson says, he does the opposite. :P
