For minor leaguers. Wow. He's gonna make the Cards tough as hell to play against. I don't follow ball like I usta but i've seen enough of the Cards this year to know they're not to be messed with.

I didn't recognize the name, all I know is the Cardinals didn't give up their top prospect, and still got the Rockies to foot half of the 15 million dollar bill.

Not that great of a trade at all for Colorado. They got decent, but not near top, prospects and still had to pay a lot of cash. When you give up your star, you should still be able to get more for him than those prospects and the cash just didnt help them. As for the Cardinals, nice pick up. That lineup is just beyond deadly now.
