- Makes ML debut 2-3 years before the Mets were ever going to give him a shot.
- Shuts out a major league team at the age of 20.
- Gets his first win in his first try.

*banana* Congratulations, Jim Duquette, you are the first man to EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, be screwed by Chuck LaMar.

Don't forget...

1) Victor Zambrano is on the DL
2) Bartolome Fortunato gave up the game-winning HR yesterday

Yep. He was screwed.

It will be years before the Mets-Rays trade can really be judged. Zambrano has not had a chance to prove himself, and neither has Kazmir; or Fortunato or Diaz for that matter. One good start for Zambrano does not mean the trade was great, a bad start does not mean the trade was bad and the same rings true for Scott Kazmir.

You have to learn that Chris makes early judgements on everything. :)

This guy will be a future star and Zambrano is almost out of his prime (if not already). However, I still like the Benson trade.
