I'm not too high on Keppel, I don't think the Mets are high enough on Petit, he might be traded in December.

I can't believe I left out Brian Bannister. I watched this kid a few times in Brooklyn, he's got some good stuff. He is very underrated.

This is based all on homegrown talent.

And about Eric Byrnes, is 5 years he'll 34. Byrnes relies on pure speed and a body that doesn't get injured to do what he does. He is very resilient, but by 33-35, I think he might start to breakdown, pretty much eliminating the joy of watching him and his use.

Where's Huddy? ???

SharksandAsFan

If any of the Big 3 doesn't resign, it'll be Zito. He has Scott Boras as his agent.

paranoidmoonduck

Where's Huddy? ???

Huddy is gone because Beane stressed resigning the teams best pitcher, Mulder. Beane reasoned that he could afford Zito due to his lessened effectiveness, but re-signing Huddy and Mulder would cost too much.

Actually, I haven't. I remember checking him out last year and they stunk.

Batting only like .253, but he's got 26 HR, 22 2B, and 97 BB in a little over 100 games. Pretty solid.

I think we can all say that the Brewers won't be trading Ben Sheets anytime soon. And Eric Chavez? Pfft.
