The Falcons defense has officially reached a new low

Ellis Johnson, who led our team in sacks last season with 8, and Jamie Duncan are rumoured to be released by the team next Monday due to Johnson being a greedy faggot and Duncan due to an injury settlement.

Unless Demetrin Veal or Chad Lavalais can put up the same production as Ellis at DT, we have no pass-rush to complement Rod Coleman and Patrick Kerney. As for Duncan, he and Chris Draft would have made a lethal combo at MLB, but it looks like the #2 MLB will be some scrub called Terrence Robinson. :/

Rumor has it that Seattle's defense is at a new high, with Wistrom, Taylor, and the new and improved Trufant-Hamlin combo... Not to mention the Ken Lucas who has earned the starting spot over Bobby Taylor himself.

And our defense line was very good last year... it was our secondary that killed us, but I think it will be different with the likes of Jason Webster, DeAngelo Hall, and Aaron Beasley. :)

Jim Mora Jr. is suppose to know how to run a team as the Head Coach, but apparently, he doesn't. Does he think by releasing last year's best CB, he's going to accomplish anything?

Okay, now let's look at our depth chart at CB!

1) Jason Webster
2) Aaron Beasley (because Hall is injured)
3) Kevin Mathis
4) Allen Rossum
5) Brandon Williams

That is flat out pathetic, when it could have been Webster, Hall, McBride, Beasley, Ross, and Mathis, which is a lot of depth, but beyond the first two, we're pathetic!

Oh, and to boot, he released a promising young RB in Quincy Wilson and then today released James Fenderson which leaves us with only Dunn and Duckett on the depth chart at HB. :/

He also let go of our longest serving and arguably our most consistent lineman in Bob Whitfield. We do have Kevin Shaffer waiting in the wings, but Whitfield could have been a great option at LG. :/
