Early in the second quarter of today's game vs. the Seattle Seahawks head coach Jon Gruden made a roster decision and gave 2002 3rd round draft pick Chris Simms his first NFL experience of his young career. Check this thread later to see the results of his regular season outing.

This was bound to happen by week 6, just happened earlier than I thought it would. Simms will be a good QB.

That was one of the most ugliest and boringest games I've ever watched... I think.

yeah I agree, I wish a better team besides the Seahawks were playing the Bucs. It was like watching some JuCo upset a top 25 team.

Michael Wilbon ran Brad Johnson out of Washington. I think he'll do the same to him in Tampa Bay, which is probably for a good thing, but Simms isn't ready, but he's a much much better option than *GASP* Brian Griesemonkey.
