I don't think the future will looks as bright for PS3 as it previously did for PS2. PS2 rode entirely on the coattail of PSX and never saw any competition for a year and a half. Things will be different, this time. Gradually, attention is being sifted away from Sony toward Microsoft and Nintendo.

If they call it the ps3 i will not buy it. If they call it something eles then i will. They need to get a better name then just adding digits

What a stupid reason not to buy a system. XBox and Gamecube have proven that sucky names don't yield sucky games .

But the due has a point.Sony is clearly relying way too much on its Playstation Brand...........Proof!! Look at the PSP (Probably will be read later as Pile of $hit Pieces).....They better come with a more original name.Even then,still i won't but a PS console.I never bought either of the two to begin with.

Thats because Sony is smart. Playstation brand = good. Nintendo keeps the "Gameboy" in their name.
