In the most exciting (you know it) series of the weekend the A's will play the Angels. Whoever wins the series will make the playoffs.

Who do you guys think will win? I say A's.

A's will win because of their pitching. Guerrero will do awesome, but will get no help from the rest of his team (especially Jose Guillen ;) ).

Mulder gave up 4 runs in 2 innings and the A's lost 10-0 yesterday.

It's official. The Angels are going to the playoffs. Zito had the lead 4-2, but was suffering tightness in his legs, which forced Macha to go to the A's bullpen. The Angels won 5-3.

Congrats to Anaheim, even though I'm more of a fan of Oakland. *blush*

Taking Zito out wasn't a mistake. He had thrown 113 pitches and isn't by any means a workhorse. Bringing Mecir in was the bad decision.
