Green Bay will start off this season 1-3. Today was flat out just a poor game and now injuries are coming into effect. Sharper and Green were shakey today. Favre gets hurt. McKenzie is now "hurt" *rollyeyes . Just this team is getting pounded with injuries, not only that but it is coming at the wrong time. I'll admit Pederson is an underrated QB but still he needs to get an arm. Nall needs to get a brain. I honestly have lost faith in this team. Defense is far to shakey, offense is solid but this new center needs to learn to play first. If they can beat Tennessee and Detriot their next two games I'll admit a huge chip off the shoulders will be taken. But this gets any worse you need to put some blame on Sherman and guess what... HE DESERVES IT!!! If McKenzie gets some balls and actually comes back and Grady Jackson can come back healthy next game this team will be better. Really they have to figure out what is going on with this team. Things can get better, but the offense has to figure out what they are doing first and the defense needs to get healthy and McKenzie has to stop be a greedy bastard.

Doug Pederson looked pretty terrible today. Not only that, it didn't look like they ould run the ball otday, which was surprising. And Tiki Barber just ran wild all over the GB defense. Not a good day to be a Packer fan, which, luckily, I am not. :)

The Mike McKenzie sweepstakes are now down to the Seahawks and Saints.

That game was a tight one. Doug Pederson had two chances to bring the Packers back into it in the 4th quarter after Steve Christie missed those two easy field goals, and he didn't. The defense was also shakey in the final minutes of the game. But worst of all, Brett Favre may have a concussion.

See, this is where it really sucks to be a Packers fan. If Brett goes down, the Packers are toast. Doug Pederson is probably the only QB who has a crappier arm than Wet Noodle, and Craig Nall should be a career NFL-Europer.

For those of you that don't know, "Wet Noodle" = Ty Detmer.

Yeah, but with today's performance by Jake Plummer, I would probably call him more of a spaghetti arm than Wet Noodle.

Well I will bring this thread up again, it is looking like 1-4 with the way they are playing. Good news offense is starting to get a theme and an idea its called Favre. Defense is just looking pitiful. Almost every play someone has blown their coverage. Tackling is even worse. Sherman needs a brain. This just flat out doesnt look good hopefully they can put it together and at least walk out of this season with a 8-8 record. Hopefully we have Favre next season and a healthy Grady Jackson(such an important person on this season). Things could get better in the future but hey this season isnt over by any means, just they have to put it into super gear.

Favre is just not looking good. Sure, they're not even trying to run, but he has made some terrible decisions.

And Chatman just muffed the punt return at his own 23 and the Titans recovered! This team is flat out embarrasing. Thank God I'm not a Packers fan. :)

Next week's Sunday Nighter will be tight -- Vikings vs. Saints... BATTLE OF THE DOMES! Hopefully Minnesota crushes Aaron Brooks and the Stains like they should.

And now Donald Driver fumbles on a catch at the TEN 30. 6 turnovers on the day for GB compared to 0 by TEN.

Are you enjoying this as much as I am, twins? :)

You guys I must say this now I officially give up on this team this season. I can only pray Favre comes back next season, this team just looks god awful. Sherman I must say a freaking hate you, you bastard. You are a terrible head coach and GM. This defense needs to put it together and Grady Jackson is most likely the missing piece. Flanagan was another extremely tough loss without him the value of Green goes down. But I put blame on Sherman, sure the Pack is coughing up the ball on the field but Sherman gave up when it was 14-0 with about 55 minutes left in the game, he has made terrible decisions throughout the season, first job this offseason is to get this bum out of here.

See, don't you think that's the problem, when your best defensive player is Grady Jackson, who was booed out of New Orleans? :o

There are a ton of guys better than Jackson, which include Gbaja-Biamila (though he's been a non-factor this season), Nick Barnett, Al Harris and Darren Sharper.

Jackson is however better than whoever the hell is replacing him, he is a good run stopper. Plus I didnt say he was better just he could be the missing piece of the puzzle.

This is close to heaven on earth. :)

But here's the thing I hate about many Packer fans (not you Matt). Last year when the Vikings lost to Arizona, they were the first to make fun of the Vikings every chance they got. But when the Eagles had a miraculous comeback against the Packers, and you would make fun of them, and they'd get mad. They can dish it out, but they can't take it.

Remember when Favre tossed up a live duck to Brian Dawkins? I'll never forget that, mostly because that isn't like Favre.

Freddy Mitchell will forever be in Minnesota Vikings fan's debts!

Rivalries do that to some people. BTW, if you mention 4th and 26 to me I will break your neck ;) but honestly the only reason I will say the words Nathan Poole will be to show how the Pack finally got their shot at the playoffs and still blew it, not to attack Viking fans :). Kind of funny Vikings and Packers fans will trash talk each other while Detriot is on top right now :D

Well huge sigh of relief for Packer fans, beating the Lions 38-10. Honestly I didnt see the game so I cant give any insight on how things could improve or possibly have improved. From stats I can say that I am glad to see Sharper stepping up, Favre is stepping up, Green still needs to do better, I didnt see any fumbles which is a good sign but honestly the guy needs more yardage if the Packers are going to make a run. But a lil relief. Honestly I would not even talk about coming back for a run yet, Green Bay is still 2-4 and Minnesota is just rolling. Hopefully they can just take this step by step. :)

Favre actually looked like the Favre of old today, which is a great sign for Packer Backers.

With the game today I think you can officially say the hand has been taken away from the button but you are not near being out of the clear yet. Today's win was one of those you knew you had it before halftime, honestly I havent felt that way while watching a Packer game since going back to last season when they ended it playing the Broncos. Thank god Grady Jackson is back! I know that sounds stupid but he has a good game and is a good run stopper. Time for bad news, Sharper is hurt a huge blow to the defense. Also partially you can credit this win on Dallas they looked terrible. Favre is looking good even though he is throwing a lot of short passes and will only break out a couple long ones. Ahman Green finally had a good game. Offense looks a lot deeper now. Team is starting to turn around too bad they do it right when they are entering the toughest part of their schedule.
