The Redskins lost again today, to the Cleveland Browns of all teams. The 'Skins lost for the second consecutive week because of poor timeout use. So, was Gibbs really the guy for the job?

Don't worry, according to Portis, there was a lot more to blame than just faulty coaching:
(thanks xny for digging this up)

Clinton Portis claims the Browns knew the Redskins plays on Sunday.
He didn't say how. "Anytime a defensive player comes up to you after the game and tells you they knew the plays, it's hard to beat anybody," Portis said. Oct. 3 - 8:47 pm et
I think that Tagliabue should seriously look into this because you wouldn't want teams compromising the integrity of the NFL by studying film during the week or anything. I guess his fumbling, like Leon from the Budweiser commercials, didn't matter as much as the conspiracy that was happening in the midst.
Hey Portis, just letting you know we all feel for you, and hopefully this madness will be stopped so that you can think of more excuses as to why your team can't win games.

It's too soon to be questioning Gibbs validity as a coach because of a few games. Let him knock off the rust. Any league that allows Steve Spurrier two years of buffer and Butch Davis more deserves to give Joe Gibbs of all people more than three weeks.
