It was only 8 years ago he won the NL MVP. He died of a massive heart attack. It supposedly has to do with his past with steriods and cocaine.

Let this be a lesson to you all, especially you Jason Giambeefy, steroids are not the way to go. Sad to see a great player die so early.

You said steroids, my guess is that cocaine contributed as well. So basically that's what you said, nut not quite. ;)

Thats a shame. The fact that it was drug-related makes it even worse.
