1) Adrian Peterson is the best player in College Football, and he should win the Heisman - but he won't, because he's a freshman. Seriously, 900 yards after 6 games, a 5.8 rush average. This guy is the best RB prospect in a while.

2) Matt Leinart will win the Heisman - He was pegged at the start of the year as the favorite, and has played very well. Plus, USC will be undefeated, so that will help his case.

3) Vernand Morency is the best RB you've never heard of - 980 yards and a 6.2 average after 6 games for Oklahoma St. This guy is a beast, and one of the best RB in the nation.

4) The Big 12 South is embarrassingly better than the Big 12 North - I know others have said it, but the top 5 teams in the Big 12 are in the South.

5) Oklahoma is better than they were last year - Yeah I know they lost their DT, they lost Teddy Lehman, yada yada yada. But Adrian Peterson is that good that he is enough of a difference maker, along with Jason White, to make this team better than they were a year ago. Plus, they shutout Texas. The defense can play as well.

6) The Big East shouldn't get a BCS bid - The best team from the Big East, West Virginia, got beat by Virginia Tech, who is about in the middle of the ACC. With the others in the Big East, this is a sad excuse for a major conference.

7) Auburn is the best team in the SEC - but they won't go undefeated. They will slip up either against Georgia (if David Greene decides to play well that game) or in the SEC Title Game. They have a great running game, and Jason Campbell has played really well.

8) Louisville is the best non-BCS team. Stefan Favors was great again Miami. Plus, they are going to be good for a while. Brain Brohm (true freshman) looked like a stud in that game, when he played a little in the 4th quarter.

9) Oklahoma will beat USC for the National Title - USC is a great team, but I don't think they are quite as good as last year. And I have already said I think Oklahoma is better than last year. 24-14 Oklahoma.

Nice list you got there. I agree with all except for #7 and #9.

7) Auburn is the best team in the SEC - but they won't go undefeated. They will slip up either against Georgia (if David Greene decides to play well that game) or in the SEC Title Game. They have a great running game, and Jason Campbell has played really well.
Even though Georgia has lost to Tennessee, while Auburn defeated them, I still think that Georgia is the best team in the SEC. The reason Georgia lost against Tennessee was penalties. They were flagged 9 times for 92 yards, which included a kickoff return to Tennessee's 2 yard line that was taken back because of holding. Not only will Auburn be tested VS Georgia and in the SEC Title Game, but don't count out their game @ Alabama (5-2).

9) Oklahoma will beat USC for the National Title - USC is a great team, but I don't think they are quite as good as last year. And I have already said I think Oklahoma is better than last year. 24-14 Oklahoma.
Yes Oklahoma is better than last year, but USC has the edge. We all saw Jason White struggle in the Sugar Bowl last year and since Adrian Peterson is only a freshman, his championship game status is undetermined. For USC, Matt Leinhart is a proven leader that can win. Along with Reggie Bush making big plays all over the field and Dwayne Jarrett stepping up drastically, USC is my pick to win the National Championship.

ROFL!!!! Virginia Tech isn't middle of the pack in the ACC

They are better than: NC State (I know...but they got lucky as hell), WF, UNC, Duke, Clemson, Georgia Tech, and Maryland

They are equal to: Virginia, FSU

The Only team better: Miami

My logic:

Maryland is horrible, GT is only decent, UNC is UNC, WF is good, but they got beat, so..., Duke got pummeled, and Clemson isn't that good, and NC State has fallen apart

Virginia was overrated after beating all those pushovers, so i think tech'll beat em come thanksgiving, and FSU is pretty good, but if they played tech, itd be a hell of a game

Miami is very good...so the last game is gonna be a toughie
