They just humiliated the Kings on national television, and are holding a 4-1 record. They took down 'Melo and the Nuggets, and their only loss was the season opener to the Clippers (which was a fluke, if you ask me).
Thanks to Danny Fortson, Reggie Evans, and Ray Allen's three pointers, we're in the position we're in.
Does anyone besides me think they can make it to the playoffs this year?

Any team has a shot in basketball, and I think they have a pretty good one. Probably 6th seed at best though.

lol they have only played 5 games, it isnt like it can't turn around on them, but yes they have a good chance of landing a playoff spot this year

Just because they are playing well now doesn't mean they would continue. The teams like the Kings, Lakers, and Grizzlies should make a huge run later, and teams like the Clippers, Sonics, and the Raptors could cool down.

You're not ruining anything for me; Since when should I listen to someone who doesn't back up their opinion?
The Booth-Fortson deal was a rip for the Sonics, same with the Allen-Payton deal two years ago. Just wait until Collison, Ridnour, and Swift heat up; We'll be there. *nod*

We all know how Magus likes to promote his home teams to an extreme level, but he never believed me that Ray Allen is better than Vince Carter, or even that Danny Fortson is good this year.
Now look where he's at. Down by 14 at the half. Geez, I hope this doesn't come back and bite me in the ass. :P

It almost did. The Sonics won by a point, 88-87. Watch what you say, newbie. ;)

They really don't have much of a defense, Ridnour, Allen, and Swift all are weak defensively. Evan is inconsistent, and Fortson is way overpaid for about 10 rebounds.

A win is a win. 8-)
I still think that if we keep playing like this we'll be in the playoffs.

Half the teams playing like that will fail, and the teams that are average will get better.

Lakers will get better, but won't get past the first round of the playoffs.
Did you guys see Kobe get booed at the AMAs? I didn't. I was laughin' when I heard about it.
The Sonics were down 21 to the Griz' and came back and won by five. Suckas!!! *lol*

The Grizzlies won't pick it up. They overachieved last season.

Seattle will not get past the first round if they make the playoffs that is. I think they will be the team or 2 left out. THe just don't got the talent right now to do it. Still if they lose in the first round thats a success for Sea cause theyve been terrible for a pretty long stretch.

They might not have the talent on a lineup card, but you have to see them to know what I'm talking about.

they are a decent team but really i dont see a clear floor general, allen will hit his shots, and he will sure take some shots(led the league im 3-pointers taken a year or two ago), they should be a playoff team tho
