Dwight Howard
Shaun Livingston
Emeka Okafor
Luol Deng

Take your pick! I think Howard will be. he's coming out of High School and he's looking pretty good so far!

My thoughts exactly.

Once Okafor grasps that he is the future and the leader for Charlotte, he'll heat up and take control.

emeka will be the best. i think howard shoulda went through at least 2 or 3 years of college ball first.

Okafor wins this not doubt about it. He showed us all what he could do last year with another good person on the team. Now all Charlotte has to do is get him another good player and they might start to win some games.

deng will be, I never see howard becoming a star or anything, from just watching him he doesnt have the fire in him he needs. He seems lazy for some reason, I have watched deng and he is a beast, I can't judge the other two since I havent seen them play yet, I kind of saw okafor and he looked good though.

Howard has more potential then Emeka but Emeka is already more devoloped the Howard. So its just if Howard can hit that potenial if he can he will be better.

I agree, Deng is a beast. This guy runs the floor like he's running away from a crazy Shaq. :P

Howard with 10+ rebounds in 6 straight games to start his career. He is averaging 11.3 rebounds per game. Not bad. :)

No love for Al Jefferson? That kid is a beast for the Celtics, and is stronger than any rookie drafted this year. And in 5 years, he could be the best. Same with Biendris, excellent European prospect.

Okafur will be what he is right now, a strong rebounder and defender with a developing offensive game. I don't expect him to be a gem offensively, but he will be great defensively. Howard's and Livingston's ceilings are the highest, and the others close to it is Biedris of the Warriors and Jefferson.

Emeka Okafor will be the most consistent. His game reminds me a lot of Elton Brand's. Okafor will the guy getting 18-20 points and 10 rebounds per game five years from now. I like a lot of what I have seen from Dwight Howard so far. He is in a perfect situation where he does not need to be an elite scorer yet so he can serve as a glass cleaner while he works on his offense. I think Howard could be where Amare Stoudamire is right now in another five years.

Emeka Okafor for the main reason that there building the franchise around him..and they don't expect Charlotte 2 go anywhere so he can develope more to..

I like Deng. I'm a Bulls fan and he's pretty good. He will be a great player, but I'm not guaranteeing anything huge like a Kobe type player. He can score inside, good height, grabs boards, can hit the three, and hustles

I think Deng will be a Manu Ginobilli type of guy. 18-20 ppg, 6-7 rpg, 4-5 apg. He will do a lot of things well, but won't necessarily dominate in any one area.

if I had to cokpare deng to someone I would say shareef-abdul-rahim, just kinda seems like him.

Not really. Rahim is more of a post player and Deng is more of a perimeter guy who can actually create plays off the dribble.

Deng isn't much like Ginobli, he might have the same numbers, but doesn't have the quickness that Ginobli has. Deng is much like a poor mans Grant Hill. The knock on him was his average athletism for a 3, and wasn't fluid.

Dwight Howard will be the best of that group in 5 years and will be one of the best in the league. He has high expectations as the second-coming of Kevin Garnett and I have no doubts of his talent. He already has shown this season why he is one of the next big young NBA stars.

Dwight Howard is a lot like Erick Dampier right now. Great defense, lots of rebounds, but yeah, he's KG in a year or two.

I'm going with Howard. He's more KG type.

Dwight Howard is not the next KG, he doesn't have the passing or dribbling ablity. Not every long athletic power foward coming out is KG. He could end up a more athletic Duncan type, or a Rasheed Wallace without the offcourt problems.

They both followed the same path, too, coming straight out of high school. There are just too many connections to consider otherwise.

Actually, you're right. I was thinking Ben Wallace. A ton of rebounds, averages around 10 PPG, and blocks a lot of shots.

I would say that Okafor is the next Big Ben and that Howard is the next Admiral.

I don't know. Okafor is a little more offensive than Big Ben.

Dwight Howard is 4 years younger when Duncan and Wallace came in the league, he can easily end up like that. He doesn't have the same freakish athletism KG has, or ball handling skills. He also can't pass like KG, and that isn't something people can develop.

Since when can you not work on passing. I'm confused.

Didn't Howard play PG in Highschool? I think he did, But anyway I think howard will be the best.

I really like livingston though I heard people compare him to *oh* Magic Johson! *Gasp* well we will see won't we?

Court vision, natural playmaking ability. That is what seperates KG with other athletic power fowards. Livingston is compared to Penny Hardaway a bit more.

Not the best, solid, but Livingston, Okafor, Howard, and a lot others can get better.
