World Championship run methinks. Amare could be the MVP, and we have everyone clicking on all cylinders right now. We just beat the Lakers, and Nash is a beast. He has 16/17/18 assist games thus far.

FYI, the Lakers are no longer a dynasty. But congrats on beating the Los Angeles Kobes. :P

Nah I'm just kidding man, the Suns have a great team. Quentin needs to play a little better, otherwise they are clicking from each position (except C).

Watch out for the Kobe's later in the season, beat us with all of our centers out though. :p

Seriously though, the Suns are killing.

The reason I called them to Los Angeles Kobes is because I don't know of anyone else on that team beside Kobe, Odom, and Butler. *blush*

I knew they were going to be a good contender for the championship this year when I saw their roster. Good luck to them this year.

Anytime a team addes a Steve Nash, and Q-Rich to a team that already has the raining ROY, and All-Star forward Shawn "the matrix" Marion, they are going to be good. It's a nice story, and like you, i wish them the best of luck.

I'm thinking the Suns are going to top 50 wins this season. They could even reach 55.

Steven Hunter looks like the next Shaq some nights, but then others he dissapears. If he can be consistent, this team is the best team, ever?

Maybe best team ever for your franchise, but ever for the whole NBA, no. I don't see any team getting a better lineup then Jordan-Pippen-Rodman-Kerr-Kukoc for a long time.

Well, before we start sizing those rings let us just consider that their only quality win is against Dallas and they have lost to Cleveland and Sacramento who has been rather mediocre to-date. I have seen them play some and unless they shore up the defense this is not a championship caliber team yet. They have beaten up on some of the dregs of the league thus far in Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans, and New Jersey.

Phills getting carried away. Best team ever? Not close. But probably a top 3 team this season.

Not even top three in my opinion, the Jazz look more impressive than the Suns so far. Spurs, T-Wolves, Pistons, and Heat are all better. Also, Hunter, Nash, and Johnson or Richardson are going to get burned on defense a lot.

If Steven Hunter could be the next Shaq, they would be the best team ever. But I doubt that, farm animals have a better chance becoming the next Shaq, or even play like him.

Phoenix has not shown that killer instinct either. That loss to the Cavs was a bad loss. They blew a 19 point fourth quarter lead in that one. Championship teams do not blow a 19 point lead in the 4th like that. They also almost blew a big lead against Philly, just that the Sixers are not good enough to come back from 20 down, but they rallied to cut it to single digits in the fourth quarter.

Blowing the 19 point lead was pathetic, i watched that game and was rooting for the Suns to win. Too much Lebron down the stretch though...

Don't forget Zydrunas he hit some clutch shots down the stretch to put it into OT. I think he scored the last seven or eight points for the Cavs in regulation.

BigJabber

Yeah, he hit the final 7 i think. The best, of course was the 3 to tie the game. But in OT, it was all Lebron.

Young teams will blow big leads like that, Amare, Johnson, and Richardson aren't experienced enough to hold leads. Marion disappears in big games, and never really been a leader or creator for other players.Having a Center would help as well, and with mediocore defense, they won't get far in the playoffs.

Yeah, but Steve Nash is and seeing as he is the PG he needs to be the guy to hold the team together and make sure they don't blow leads like that.

I agree, Nash needs to be the man in the 4th, and dumping it off to Amare in the middle. They are forcing way to many passes in the 4th period, which have lead to all there losses.

I see 5-55 wins in the regular season, with a 4th or 5th seed into the playoffs. I think they will excape round 1 against the lower seeded team, but in the 2nd, i think they will be dominated. Of course if they can get they're defense and turnovers taken care of, they could be a sleeper team for the championship.

I don't see there defense improving by much, Nash hasn't become a defense player in his whole season, and he won't start. Richardson lacks the lateral quickness to guard shooting guards, and isn't strong or tall enough to stick small fowards. Johnson is average, so there wings will be in trouble, leading to foul problems for Amare. Good regular season team, but not good enough to be championship material.

BigJabber

That sounds like the Mav's in past years. Good in the Regular season, but not good enough in the Playoffs...

I agree with you though, there defense is suspect, and will be there achilles heel all season.
