My Chargers need Braylon Edwards? Why? Because our WR besides RECHE and McCardell SUCK.. Brees needs another option.. everything else is ok right now.. maybe oline/dline but WR more.

The San Diego Chargers will need the following players, in the following order...
1) Braylon Edwards, WR, Michigan
2) Mark Clayton, WR, Oklahoma
3) Alex Barron, OT, Florida State
4) Derrick Johnson, OLB, Texas
5) Erasmus James, DE, Wisconsin

Drew Brees and Philip Rivers must have real targets if they are to succeed in the NFL. Also, they must have the right protection up front. Defense is so-so at best ever since Junior Seau left...

Other than Mike Williams, who do the Falcons need?

Who is out there on the offensive line for the giants (2nd round though). Also, I am not really sure what the jets need what do you think.

I think the Patriots need some defensive backs. Were banged up right now, and Law is a free agent at seasons end. Who do you think they should take?

49ers needs a new O-Line (Keep Newberry), D-Line (keep BYoung), & DB's.

Except that the way things are going the Chargers are going to be in the lower half of the draft and these guys are considered top 15 picks.

Falcons: Besides better recievers they need to upgrade the O-line Vick has teakne 30 sacks this year which ranks the team 29th in the league. Also, other than the front four the defense is rather ordinary. They could use a little more depth and talent at LB and in the secondary. I would not hold my breath on the Falcons getting a big time wideout unless they can swing a deal.

Giants: Obviously O-line. An upgrade at reciever would not hurt Toomer and Hilliard are decent, but nothing special. Linebacking is nothing special either, never a good sign when four of the top five tacklers on your team come from the secondary.

Jets could also use a TE Anthony Becht just is not getting it done, but that is probably the least of their worries.

Forty Niners need just about everything right now.

Do the Pats really have any draft needs as long as they keep winning 14 games a year and going to the Super Bowl?

the 49ers need a quarterback more than any other team out there. They will probably end up with a top pick. So which quarterbacks are the best this year?

Well, they still have the 'Phins to compete with for the top pick, but unless Leinart or Rodgers come out early the Niners are better off waiting until next year. There are no QBs considered to be 'Franchise QBs' in this year's senior class since Orton went belly up a month ago. Besides from everything that I have heard Dennis Erickson still seems to think that Rattay or Dorsey can be a quality NFL QB. In reality though the Niners have so many holes that really could not go wrong with whoever they end up with in the draft.

They need to get rid of F'n Becht, but they don't need another tight end. Baker can be great if they throw it to him more. I'm not sure how well Baker can block though *gloomy*.

This is exactly why the whole Eli Thing was a waste. They lose there picks for future years and can not get needed 0-Line and upgrades in the Linbacker position. They could have gotten Ben Rothelsburger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chargers....

Outside Linebacker... Ben Leber just isn't fast enough.

giants really need o-line and linebackers. it will be rough considering they dont have a first round pick, so they need to either find a sleeper or make some FA signings.

Great sig Don.

The Raiders could use a QB since they won't play Tui. Mike Williams would also be nice!:) I hoped they would draft him this year, damn ineligiblity!

Seahawks could use a center, like Ben Wilkerson from LSU. :)

chargers draft will be in the 20's somewhere.. but they also have the giants pick so that will probably be top 15

The Packers, you ask? Why, they need:

Defensive end - Basically we have half of a line. Jackson/KGB. That's it.
Outside Linebacker - Navies just doesn't seem to be making a difference out there.
Quarterback. - Can you guess who's gonna retire soon?
Cornerback - Al Harris = Not a number 1 CB.

Possibly the Giants are currently 20th, but fading quickly. The only thing is the Giants can probably end up with seven wins which probably puts them in the neighborhood of 15.

We just need someone on defense...

A bit early to think about the draft. I'm not complaining, I love talking about it. The Raiders need a RB badly. Perhaps Cadillac Williams, since he has more speed than most other top draft elligible RB and Al Davis likes speed. QB would be nice, but unless we get Leinart, or unless Rodgers leaves Cal early, I wouldn't spend a high draft pick on one. I would be curious to see people's top 5 position rankings.

The Packer have targeted two QB's the last two years, first Grossman, then Losman. They didn't get either. It is time they start to groom a new QB. I am fairly sure Cletius Hunt makes it 3/4 of a D-Line.

I'm telling you, we don't need a QB. We have the almighty Craig Nall.

hehateme71

see we do need a QB, because o'sullivan wont be here long, and nall will sadly be either gone next year, or he will just be 3rd string again if we draft a QB

lawrencefrank

You guys need a QB but I would draft one next year since theres not to many good QBS in this class.

11-23-2004, 12:29 AM
yes that is kind of true, but there is orton, walter, leinhart, rogers, plus alot of great qb's come from later rounds. but still we should maybe get one in two years

PacMan

Andrew Walter would be a pretty nice pick, but I don't think this is the year to draft a QB.

Well rumor has it that the Pack is going to make a serious run at trying to sign Drew Brees this off season if he hits the free agent market.

Yeah, regarding Brees, you're probably right. I don't see the Chargers franchise tagging him when they have budding star Philip Rivers waiting in the wings, and Doug Flutie is better than a ****ing 3rd stringer. *nod*

Who do my Chicago Bears need? Right now, we need a lot of help on offense. Our defense seems to be doing good. We don't need a high pick qb because Rex Grossman will be back next year (he's injured now) but we should get a good one as a backup that can handle the game unlike Jonathon Quin and Craig Krenzel (even though he's 3-1..he only won thanks to defense and special teams). Our WR are crap, David Terrell as our lead receiver is not what we want or need...Maybe some help on the O-line to complement Kruetz and Tait. Maybe another OLB to complement Urlacher and Briggs..and some good blockers for Jerry Azumah and R.W. McQuarters on returns

hehateme71
11-23-2004, 02:24 AM
you not right on the WR;s being crap, terrell is still fairly young, but by now he should know how to catch the ball, but if you get it too him enough he has the potential to have huge games. Bobby Wade is still really young, and he looks like he will be something good someday, and honestly I really think grossman will never be anything if he is a bear for his career, and krenzel just sucks lol, in my belief, mostly because he arm is just horrible

doublee
11-23-2004, 04:33 AM
No, he is right the Bears need a number one reciever. Terrell is showing he is not much more than a good number two guy. The guy has had five games with either 0 or 1 catch. He is on pace for 42 catches this year. Not exaclty overwhelming for a top flight reciever. I am not sure that Bobby Wade has the size to be a premiere wideout. Yes, the team needs some O-line help as well. 37 sacks is not good. They could also use a little more depth on the defensive side of the ball teams have been able to run fairly easily on them.

I am fairly sure Cletius Hunt makes it 3/4 of a D-Line.

Not so sure about that. Hunt hasn't exactly been stopping the run, and he can't rush the passer, either.
