What looks like a 5-5 start for the Packers. Down the road the schedule doesnt exactly look easy, but this is a team that does do better late in the season and seems to do better in the need to win games. But youhave to admit I am seeing weaknesses on this team now and it does not look good, but being in the NFC it could take a not great record (9-7 or possibly even 8-8) to make the playoffs. Here is the ulimate question: Will the Green Bay Packers make the playoffs?

My personal opinion. Not biased but probably jinxing it I say yes. The NFC has just been pitiful this season, St. Louis is a beatable team and if Green is back they may even have a chance at beating Philly. Next to Minnesota, those are most likely the two toughest games the rest of the way. I think it is a doable feat.

If I'm correct here, and I know I am, the Packers or Vikings will end up facing the Falcons in the Dome come January.

Aren't the Pack like, leading their conference right now? Or at least tied for first or something last I heard. They will make it.

Yeah, any team lead by Brett Favre is in good shape to make the playoffs if they are close in the standings at mid-season.

Lions: No threat
Bears: No threat
Vikings: Awaiting annual collapse
Packers: Easy division win, baby!!

I think they can still win it. We're starting to pick up the momentum now

Is the joke how it is obvious that he is either dead or alive, or do you just like it?

It just seems stupid that CNN would actually put that on the air.
Kinda funny though.

lol you were wrong all sport, nice game longwell though, oh boy we can count on him inside 40, but it gets tough for him when you back him up quuite a bit, what I thought about was do you think they would have won in overtime if longwell missed it?

If there defense could hold off them off again, sure the Pack could win.

Do you seriously have to ask?

Anyhow, I still think the Vikings will take it. Their schedule is easy coming up. They avoided what would have been a huge collapse if they would have lost yesterday. They had their backs to the wall, and they came back, even without one of their top 2 players, who should be back next week. I still think 11-5 for the Vikings, 10-6 for the Packers.

haha well they will have to beat us or something, cause as long as we tie them for division this year we will be going to playoffs ahead of them

thats exactly what I meant, I think that the viks will take this one though, just cause it is in minnesota, and they will have moss back, so we might be in trouble

Ahman Green is out for who knows long, and Moss is back this week. Hence Minesota's ability to win the North.

nfl.com said Moss might not play next week...

Mike Tice said he expects about 25 plays for Moss, mostly on 3 reciever sets. He practiced fairly weel last week, so I'm pretty optimistic.

And Jabber (I wont call you by the initials ;) ) Ahman Green is probable for next week, so its no worry.

I heard that he was "probable" for this weeks game.

Even if Moss doesn't play this week, They should not br written off for the North. The fact that Ahman Green is out for th packers, the Vikings have a better team, even without Moss.

Hehe, thanks for not calling my the initals! :) Just call me Jab or something. And i didn't see green as Proable. I was just going from ESPN when they said he would be doutbful this week. And they didn't seem to optimistic about the Ribs either.

Ahman is on the probable list for the game.

I see. Thanks for the info. Maybe i have a chance of winning my Fantasy league then! I also have Moss, who is hurt too LOL.

I, for some reason dont think Green will be playing. He couldn't even return to the game. But, maybe it was just precaustionary, and will be ready to go. But like i said, the boys at ESPN wasnt too optimistic about it.

Cheers
Jab

well yes it is kinda hard to return to a game since when you hurt a rib it would hurt so bad to get tackled, and hit and fall non stop, and they knew all along they could beat the texans without green, so yes green will play next week when he is healed

Uhhh guys this isnt who will win the NFC North. This is if the Pack can make the playoffs, NFC North or wild card. Anyways with the saying the Pack would be 5-5, was just me trying to jinx Houston, obviously it worked :).

Offensively the Pack is one of the best. Hopefully Green wont have problems bouncing back. Fisher is more of a recieving running back. But something I have noticed the last couple of weeks is that they are now ale to get yards with the new weapon... BUBBA FRANKS. Not the top reciever of course but he can make for a nice lil addition. As for the defense, having Grady Jackson back really helps the run defense and Al Harris has really stepped up of late. I think they should not have a problem going to the playoffs especially considering they only have to win 2-3 more games to do so.

I just heard that the pack signed former brown RB james jackson, all i can say is crap I think if he plays he will just ruin it for us
