Phoenix and Seattle are the two most surprising teams that have done good. The Wolves are IMO a surprise disapointment so far I didn't think they would be 6-5 I figured they would be more like 8-3 but contract problems and all that has probably hurt the team just cause some wanted a contract extension before they where in there final year and one wanted more money and is getting older and not the player he use to be.

possibly, what about the jazz? I dont remeber what there record is now, but I heard that they were shocking some people, I am pretty sure it was the jazz, but the sonics too are surprising

Well, the Raptors are in a three-way tie for first in the Atlantic Division at 6-7. First place is surprising, but I'm not surprised that the Atlantic division sucks.

Sonics. The Suns made moves to try and get better and most thought they would be better, not necessarily this much better though. But, the Sonics mad no real moves to get better and were picked by most to be a lottery team.

Pheniox. Seatlle did this exact same thing the begining of last year. They started 6-0 remember?

Definitely Seattle. But once they start to cool off their shooting, I'm expecting them to come back to Earth.

The Cavs aren't doing too bad. Lebron is maturing more, Gooden has been a great asset and Iglausklas(sp) is having a great season so far.

1999, bud.

We started 8-2 a year or two ago.

I can't believe the Sonics didn't get as much recognition as they should've. They have the best record in basketball, and has more heart than Ron Artest's Christmas Album (see ESPN the Magazine, 0:01 :P )

I would have to say that the Charlotte Bobcats are easily one of the most surprising teams in the NBA at this point. They have won 3 games including one over the World Champion Detroit Pistons *lol* . They are not in the cellar of their division either. Not bad for an expansion team.

How about the Houston Rockets failing so far? With the dominant Yao and T-Mac combo, they have an average of under 90 points a game. They are surprisingly horrible.

I don't think the Bobcats are surprising. They aren't the cellar dwellers, but they aren't good either. They are doing better than expected, but not by much.
