You do know that West Virginia losing to Pittsburgh this week eliminated them from the BCS don't you? The Big East bid will go to either Syracuse, who eliminated BC today, or Pittsburgh if they remain ahead of Syracuse after its game with South Florida next week.

Yes, they do come from a weak conference, but they have beat teams like Texas A&M, who hung in against Oklahoma, and lost by a TD. Meanwhile, we have Pitt, who lost to Nebraska. It took OT for them to beat 1-AA Fordham. They lost to Connecticut. BCS quality there. Syracuse is 6-5. They lost to Purdue 51-0. A couple weeks ago they lost to Temple, who will be dropped from the Big East because they are not competitive enough. Utah will beat whichever of these two they face.


Also for a conference thats so "good" why are the two teams in there conference championship from the big east?

Actually, they pretty much only lost Chris Duhon. They return Redick, Sheldon Williams, Shavlik Randolph, Daniel Ewing, etc.

I knew there was someone I am forgetting. Still, Duke lost 2 of their top 6, I hardly see how they are crippled beyond help.

Yeah, I've heard something similar to the saying, but I've never heard someone say, "the champs are the champs until there uncrown." Seriously, that is some of the worst grammar and just plain stupid mistakes I have ever seen with the english language.

By the way, even if Syracuse would win it all (and certainly they have a chance, as do many others), that still wouldn't mean that the Big East is automatically the best conference.
