Who do have to go farther into the bracket this year?
The experienced Ronny Turiaf, of Gonzaga, and that one fierce Morrisey guy have what it takes to go farther than they did last year, but the absence of Blake Stepp (who was draft in the second round by the Minnesota Timberwolves) could end up hurting them in the end. Stepp was compared to such players as John Stockton, also from Gonzaga. Derek Raivio, a sophomore, has been said to be a better all around player than Stockton was when he was at Gonzaga, and could very easily replace the missing Stepp.
Washington's Nate Robinson, who has been compared to Spud Webb (mostly because of his size), looks to carry these Huskies into the top of the bracket this year.
