I think they said he will retire, but I'm not completely sure as I was not paying full attention when I heard this on SC so I may be wrong.

If he accepted arbitration that's one step closer to returning for another season. I hope he does. But if he doesn't at least he can out on top with another great season under his belt.

He is always fun to watch and I hope that he keeps playing until he absolutely can't anymore. It would be nice to have him on the Yankees, but that isn't going to happen since he is where he wants to be right now.

If he plays until he can't play anymore that would be like Cal Ripken. His last couple season were somewhat disappointing.

I think hes gonna retire personally.. Peter Gammons reported that he might take a break and when his oldest son who just entered College goes pro Roger might come out of retirement to Manage the team his son plays for...

Gammons said that, so don't count on it. *eyebrow*

Clemens will make a decision before spring training to come back. Of course he'll be an Astro. There was no doubt he'd leave to go to another state. The only place I could have seen him going other than Houston was Texas.

Gammons is a moron. I trust Jason Stark more than anyone for baseball. Everything that guy reports/says seems to be perfectly in line.. as where Gammons just says stupid crap to make people think whoa might happen so ill get on the pete gammons train of thought and look dumb. Clemens will retire and go out good hopefully .. but it not then he better do good.

I think he will be retiring! It would be sad to see him go. But I also think he has some gas left in him to throw another season!
