I hate to see the trio being broken up but Jackson and Perez both look like pretty good guys with plenty of potential. At least with Hudson gone it will be a little bit easier on the Rangers in the West.

I hope he doesn't end up there! I wouldn't like to see Oaklands pitching staff broken up!

Im not happy bout this. The A's don't have the big three now but in a couple years they might have the big 4 with Harden Zito Mulder and Jackson and then Blanton filling it out *banghead*

That'd be great for the Dodgers if they can get Hudson. Then maybe after they get Hudson, Odalis Perez might want to accept arbitration from LA because their chances of winning are now better with Hudson and Kent. Trading Edwin Jackson really hurts because he's going to be awesome and him and Rich Harden (two young good pitchers) would be great for the future of the A's.

I'm happy about this, it's just another pitcher off of the Deadbird's wishlist.

Great move on the Dodgers' part, but if I were the Cardinals, I would have pushed a lot harder to get Huddy.

Looks like a pretty solid move for both teams.

This would be good for LA but its not happeneing yet... Its all a bunch of speculation. mlb.com says that when hudson was asked about it he had not even heard a word about this trade. nothing i happening yet but i wouldnt rule out LA if somthin does happen

Would be a nice move for them, but id rather keep Jackson because hes a stud and only like 21 or something. Why the hell is everyone banned too?

I saw perez in vegas, I lived there, he is alright but still I thikn the Dodgers are getting the way better part of the deal.

Edwin Jackson could turn around and prove you wrong in three or four years.

Hopefully Harden or Jackson can step it up and make a new big 3

I still dont see this move happening.. Not yet anyway.. i think the cardinals are also int he running for hudson and i wouldnt be surprised if you see baltimore hop back in it before its all said and done.
