Who do you think will be the better NFL quarterback, this year's Heisman Trophy winner or last year's?
-Leinart, USC
-White, OU

Nah, I don't think either of them will be as good as Manning will be.

Eli Manning is just having rookie jitters, like Peyton did in 1997.
Anyways, I'd take Leinart. Jason White is destined to be just another Ken Dorsey. In Leinart, I see a Tom Brady type of player (without the rings, of course). He doesn't put up elite numbers, but he won't make bad mistakes.

Id take Leinart. White will be like a Dorsey or That really good FSU qb. I forget his name. I dont think Leinart will be anything special though maybe a Kyle Boller.

Leinert will be more, IMO, like a certain HOF QB...
*cough* Elway *cough*

Guys, remember. Matt has repeatidly said that he is going to stay in college for next year. It's not even official he'll enter the draft.

Jason White said that he probably isn't going to even go into the draft, so this is pretty useless. He went to college to be a doctor, and still plans on being one.
So the answer is clearly Leinart, although neither will be in this years draft.

Despite White wanting to become a doctor, he seems like he has more control and more visible leadership on the field. Leinart and White both had help through their college careers so far, but White never had any huge help at wide receiver like Leinart has had Reggie Bush.

I would've voted neither, but I chose Leinart.

well. I am not a big fan of oklahoma quarterbacks. most of them dont seem to be that good, USC on the other hand, well they have produced carson palmer, who looks like he might be a solid qb for thje future, but with these two I still say that leinhart is the better qb. I have seen white play, and well I just dont care for it. if I was the packers, even though were not gonna get a pick this low, I would take leinhart. he could become a favre, before white. White has impressed me occasionally, but every time I watch a USC game, leinhart dominates.

Theres no question, here this is about the better QB and if Jason White never becomes a NFL QB than Leinart is clear cut winner. Even if White goes into the draft he wont be picked earlier then the 5th round.

I vote Alex Smith if anyone but White because, lets see, he had a better carrer.

Leinart is going to have humongous expectations compared to White, but neither is going to amount to anything in the NFL.

And Timmy Chang has more career passing yards than anyone. Ron Dayne is the all-time college rushing leader. Good college careers don't necessarily translate into a good NFL career.

1998, get it right ;)
Yes I do agree that Eli is just going through what most every rookie goes through.
And as far as Leinart or White... According to the ESPN announcers (Corso, Herbstreit, those guys) they say that White may never start an NFL game in his career, but you never know.
