Noooooooo!!!!
Why? Tice hasn't won a big game in his career (in fact, his teams choke in big games seemingly as a rule). His defense still sucks. He's got the best QB/WR combo in the NFL, and they haven't made the playoffs his 3 years, and if they do this yeare they will have to sneak in. They have no consistency.
The problem is that Red McCombs is so cheap that he won't pay for another coach.Tice is the least paid coach in the NFL by a good margin, and that's exactly what McCombs wants. They are way under the cap, but McCombs won't spend to improve the defense.
I hate this move.

Yeah, but he's a player's coach. These guys like to play for him.

But they're not playing well for him. They may like to, but at some point enough is enough.

I don't think this was a bad move. Tice got a team that wasn't built the right way it was all offense and no defense. He is trying to make it more defense but it takes awhile but I think if he doesn't pull if off in two years he should be let go. I just think ya need 4-5 years to get a team fixed.

this is partially true. you cant expect someone to turn a bad team into a good one in one year, but with free agency and how much coverage college football gets, i dont think it takes 4-5 anymore. maybe 3 years. the problem is that most owners want to improve immediately and wont settle for a guy whos says he can field a good team in 3 years, and they will be gone before they can even get to this point.
