No more bets....Sources have said it's near done, about 90%...just need approval. ESPN has said it. Just need Commisioners approval and to decide on the ammount of cash being sent....
Yanks, D-Backs Agree
The Diamondbacks and Yankees have agreed on a deal that would send pitcher Randy Johnson to New York for Javier Vazquez, prospects and cash, major league sources tell ESPN
NEW YORK -- The Diamondbacks and Yankees have agreed on a deal that would send Randy Johnson to the New York for Javier Vazquez, prospects and cash, major league sources told ESPN.

The paperwork has not yet been submitted to the baseball commissioner's office, but that is the next step for the deal to be finalized.

Peter Gammons reported earlier Thursday that the on-again, off-again trade would be completed once the teams agree on the amount of money and the minor leaguers to be included in the deal. Gammons also reported that in addition to Vazquez, the deal would include catching prospect Dioneer Navarro, at least one other prospect and about $8 million going to the Diamondbacks in exchange for the 41-year-old lefty.

According to Gammons' sources, Arizona will not immediately deal Vazquez to another team, but will continue to talk to interested teams, including Baltimore, Philadelphia, Detroit and Texas.

Once a deal is official, the Yankees would then have to work out a contract extension for Johnson. According to the New York Daily News' sources, the discussion has been to add two years to Johnson's deal at $16 million each year. I'll settle it later tonight when I have more information.

then it's not done. There were reports a while ago when the Dodgers were in, then backed out. I should still be able to vote!

No, there is no third team. Both teams have definately agreed. They're waiting for Bud Selig to sign off on it now. It would be like cheating if you could bet. You know it will happen now...so no.

why is it done? The deal is not done and it has not been confirmed.

It is 99% done. People like you are going to put almost everything they have on it at the last second when you know the answer is yes. This bet is supposed to be what you think will happen, not hurry to bet on it when you know it's yes.

Going to settle this now. ESPN shows RJ in a Yankee uni. with an article about being the tallest pitcher to ever pitch for the Yankees.

If anyone has a problem with this (no one should since no one said no) IM me and if I think it's valid I'll refund your money. ;)
