I've been wanting a game (any really) for Gamecube that uses a light gun. That would be awesome if Namco would make a Cube version of Time Crisis. I think light gun games have a ton of replayability. Who's with me?

i reqally wish that could happen, now that Nintendo has a good relantionship with Capcom, Namco and Sega. But i want the gun to be made by a reputable third party or Nintendo.

That would be cool, the NES games that used the Light Gun were awsome, Nintendo has always been good at making controlers, I would love to see a Wavebird Lightgun from Nintendo. Some really good games for it and maybe a remake of the DuckHunt Game, with a bonus Disc with the Original included with the lightgun.

A light gun game would rule.
Remake Duckhunt with extra whatever stuff and we'd all be happy, seeing other light-gun games jump on GCN too!

I'd get it, providing there was at least one game worth getting it for.

I think a light gun would be cool in Metroid Prime!

I think if nintendo made a light gun, they should make it really high-tech.
Of course, cost being a limiting factor, I would like a light-rifle that could be used in games similar to Desert Storm.
What would be "uber-cool" would be if it had a scope that had a small display in it. So when you look through it, a close-up of what the weapon would be pointing at would be visible in the gun.
This is different that just putting something that actually optically magnifies what you are looking at, which is how normal scopes work. If they just did this, the image you would see would be pixelated since your just looking at a blown up portion of the screen.
In the high-tech-light-rifle, the gamecube would actually render a high-resolution image of where the rifle is pointed and send the data to the rifle to be displayed through the scope.
Of course... this could be a little pricy, but would be very cool. Imagine sniping from a rooftop in a game and actually being able to zoom in with the rifle scope and take those long shots.... awsome!
