Great start for the Vikes, which is exactly what they had to have. 14-0 right now. Hopefully the Vikings defense can play solid, like they did on GB first possession.

Winfield with the INT. You could not ask for a better start for Minnesota.

minnesota looks like they have come out very aggresively and like they really want to win this one

twins15
01-09-2005, 11:04 PM
And Morten Andersen hits a 35 yarder, just barely long enough. 17-0, but still very early.

O ya! Vikes jump out to a 17 point lead!!.... They better not let it slip!

twins15
01-09-2005, 11:14 PM
17-3 lead, hopefully the offense can keep the pressure on.

Vikings are giving Gb great field position every time, whihc is going to come back to haunt them.

twins15
01-09-2005, 11:26 PM
Vikings back to their normal selves. 17-10.

twins15
01-09-2005, 11:41 PM

Go Bears!

twins15
01-09-2005, 11:56 PM
Vikings need to hold GB to either a FG or nothing on this last drive, or else GB will have all of the momentum.

Sam-ES
01-10-2005, 12:04 AM
....and Longwell misses the FG. *lol*

- I love it.

I just realized how many Packer haters there are here. :( Its game people, I am willing to say that if the Packers pull this game off I will be donating 80 E-$ to Pacman, hehateme and hocche each. They dont look that good, this defense is missing too many tackles. Its over.

4 INT for Favre. Incredible.

The Vikings offense just doesn't even want to win.

twins15
01-10-2005, 12:54 AM
Well 24-10 after 3. Please Vikings, I beg you, win!

Green Bay's defense is actually doing decent *stupid* . That is flat out amazing. Even if GB scores a TD on this drive I still think it is over.

It's hard to be optimistic as a Vikings fan right now. 24-17.

Oh please. If Brett Favre did that in Minnesota the announcers would laugh.

Who actually believes that Favre would pull a stunt like that?

Who actually believes that Favre would pull a stunt like that?

Or if Javon Walker did it, or Ahman Green, etc. But because it's Randy Moss, it's a horrible celebration.

Or if it was Joe Horn or TO it would be horrible too.

It is nice to get the opinion of all Packer haters. :/ Anyways, it was a stupid stunt. I'll agree once I see them do it. I think they have a bit more class than Moss who pulls these kind of stunts all the time. He gives himself a bad rep.

It was unneccesary, but Joe Buck definitely overreacted.

He does tend to overreact. :)

Anyway, thak you ASI idiot for still being nice even when it looks like GB will lose. i've been in similar situations with Minnesota, and I know how hardmit can be to remain civil.

And there is a God. One of the greatest feelings of my life. This whole year has been frustrating, with GB beating Minnesota twice, but the performance today, especially by the defense was something else. Awesome.

Its tough to take down. :( Moss didnt help. But congrats to Minnesota. :) Good luck against Philly. *banana*

Geez, the Vikings play an excellent game and upset the Packers in a game no one in the media gave them any chance to win, and all the post game crew can do is sit and rip Moss for something they deemed classless, of course completely ignoring the fact that he caught 2 TD on a severely sprained ankle. And here I thought Cris Collinsworth was the worst football guy at Fox...

Living in Arizona I know the worst football announcer is Thom Brennaman. I'll admit that was wrong. Not only did the Viking offense perform well but the defense stepped up to the challenge in a big way. I didnt watch the post game but what Moss did deserved possibly one comment and a later fine. Does anyone remember what the Badger band did earlier this year against the Vikings? Anyways it was a stupid stunt, but not that significant.

I was so happy to see the Packers lose. The ESPN announcers look so bad now. Looks like the Packers aren't going to go to the Super Bowl, well I knew that already, they wouldn't have beaten Atlanta anyway.

There were no Packer fans that thought we had it in the bag. The experts did, but I have seen these two teams play two great games. It was no gimme in my mind. Oh but the way, with all the Pack fans how many tried to rub it into the Vike fans when they won the NFC North, I do realize this was huge for the Vikes to prove hey we can win in the clutch. But that wasnt really necessary. :/

you know what i really don't care if you don't like me or not. I don't even know you. don't gimme crap about Packer fans not thinking they had it in the bag. Did you not read threads by Hoche, Hehateme and Pacman, (well pacman not so much.) They were saying how much the vikings choked and how chavous was out and they had no shot. Now maybe i did go over the top but i am sick of packer fans saying the vikes can't win big games and this is my one time to gloat.

If it makes you happy I won't say anything more after this........31-17 *nod*

My thoughts exactly. I took this calmly as well, which was strange. *eyebrow*

Still 2-1 on the year. :P

BTW, Nate, I made maybe 1 post on the game, and it was who I thought would win. (obvously packers)
