i dont get how you are all saying he is so bad. he is still a rookie, he only lost one start all year. how good did you expect him to be? should he be expected to never play bad and never lose? i think the kid is great and i dont think he choked under the pressure, i think his run just ran out. he could only keep winning for so long. i think he will be fine under pressure in the future. remember, he is still just a rookie

The Last thing he did was choke during that game. He made a few bad throws, but that 3rd Quarter was simply amazing. Close game, and it shoulda been closer. But theres a good look at a future top QB.

You're talking about Tom Brady, right?

No, I am saying hes very good. However, he just choaked this playoffs, there is not more to say.Though he did have a good 3rd quater.
Big Ben is going to have a great career, I mean take any QB currently entering the pro's, and tell me one that would go 15-0 and take his team to the AFC Championship

CHOKE...no A in it.
SO what. You like the Nets and it takes 2 stars and a bunch of others on that team to suck. And they do it regularly. Ben had a bad game that ended the season. Get off his jock. Everyone in the league wishes, at least for a moment that they had him. Even if its just to use for marketing.

All i know is he didnt win 15 games HIS TEAM DID! He probably threw the least amount of passes for games played in the NFL. HIS TEAM WON 15 GAMES!

Yikes, Roethlisberger is a rookie, playing the AFC Championship Game against a great defense and mastermind coach, and while granted he made some terrible throws during the course of the game, he is labeled a choker. I have heard it all.

Yea, what is a choak exactly? No doubt he didn't do well under pressure, in the playoffs. Give him time. Hopefully all Steelers fans realize he is just a rookie and will mature. Running him out of town, even if he has a mediocre to poor season next year, would be a foolish decision.

Well, he, and "his team" did better than Eli "I Want Wanna Go to San Diego" Manning... and thats all that matters to me.

Choke? He ran into an outstanding defense. Granted, he still made rookie mistakes at times, but he still had 2 touchdowns.

Your knowledge of Football must be very limited to make such a moronic statement. This may seem as a way of taking some of the blame off of him but I dont care. He is a rookie QB. For him to go on 16 game winning streak and to lose in the AFC championship as a rookie, there are no negatives I see in this situation. New England has a great defence, pretty complex for a rookie to figure out. He didn't seem to be rattled against NYJ. He had alot of pressure on him in that game and performed just fine. Think about the matchup.

Could this possibly be...because he is INDEED a rookie? *banana* :) :D

His 1st start in the playoffs against NYJ last week he seemed to play just fine. You must remember the caliber of NE's defense. They are flawless.

i wouldnt say the pats d was flawless but they did step it up against the steelers run game which helped the pats shut pit down.
