Thats retarded. 42.5 was more than enough.

I don't know where the fault lies in all this. Oh well, it wasn't as if the Bruins were going to win the Stanley Cup this year, anyway. The NHL will be back next season though. Mark my words.

Not like the Blackhawks were going anywhere either. They need to fix the basic rules of hockey during this lockout. I'm sick of all the icing calls.

Hey, Iceing makes the game more about strategy than it would be otherwise. I mean, would anyone watch just to see grown men hit a puck clear from one side of the ice rink to the other? I know I wouldn't.

haha, honestly, yea lets get rid of icing...learn hockey.
It honestly is a shame that the 2 sides couldn't agree on 42.5 or at least 44 or 45 mil. Hey, take comfort in the fact that hockey will never be as crappy as baseball, in the sense that there are only 5 or 6 teams with a chance to win the World Series every year. Hockey will be back and as Bettman assured, it will be healthier and more competitive.

I hope so. I am Really missing it right now. I was so excited about this season. I even went to the draft.

It does kinda suck but it serves the NHLPA right for being greedy. I really don't mind so as much as I thought I would because I have been playing a lot of hockey myself but then again, I love the playoffs.
ECHL is decent but I wish they had AHL on TV.
Hopefully they can agree on something over the summer.

I just heard on CNN that the Players Assoc and the Team Owners had come to terms in the last offer, but the commisioner still canceled the season. I am looking for a link to confirm this.

I have also seen an article about that. Here's a link:

Could this season yet be saved? Stay tuned; this could get interesting.

Yep, no last chance save, even with the greatest players of all time. But they did make some good headway for next season. So we can drop the puck next year at least.
