Is Phantasy Star Advance worth buying?

It's not anything like PSO, but it's still a lot of fun. PSI has a lot of problems, but PSII is great. PSIII is also pretty good, but not quite as much as PSII is. All in all, I'd say it's worth it. Especially if it's used.

does the stories interact with pso, like is it on their homeplanet coral? is it turn based battles? phantasy star 3 and 4 are on there too?

I haven't played Phantasy Star Advance, but, if it's just a compilation of old Phantasy Star games, I'd say go for it.

pheonixphire, arent you part of Sonic Syndicate?1.) No, it's before PSO. "Muut Ditts Poumn" is refering to the 3 planets that make up the solar system where the games take place on. The civilization you are in during the Phantasy Star games is the ancient civilization that is mentioned in PSO.

It's not on Ragol. It's in the Algol solar system, which does not include Ragol.

Wait now you got me confused, if you play as the ancient civilization of PSO inside Phantasy Star, wouldn't take place on Ragol? The ancient civilization was on Ragol was it not?

Didn't you read Rico's messages in the Ruins?
The Ruins are actually a spaceship which Dark Falz was sealed away in after PSIV, then launched into space. It landed on Ragol and either from erosion or from impact, it became buried underground right below where central dome was.
