Should I sell my Playstation 2?

I hardly play it and I think its a peice of crap. I also may be thinkin of maybe giving up videogames altogether. All the companies want is money, money, and more money! They don't make games like they used to! In the 16-bit era, it was all cool now every damn videogame companie wants to get rich..i was thinking about making my OWn videogame company, but i don't want to because me and the rest of the VG companies have different views....I dont care about the money (well kinda yeah( but I just wanna make good games that arent like Sony's that take 2 minutes to make!:mad:

Yes; and duh, every company wants to make money. Do you honestly think that Nintendo didn't want your money with the NES and SNES? And the same for Sega? You are obviously quite young.

PS2 is a horrible console,. the grpahics are not much better than the n64 for god's sake, go get an xbox or gcn

First of all, I would like to see you even try to make your own video game comanpy. Secondly, the games on the Playstation (the good ones that is) takes 1-3 years. Sell it if you arent happy but dont start bitching all about.

If you don't like the games, sell it. You can find better DVD players for 2-3 times less than the PS2's price-tag.

PS2 sux0rs. If you like to play Nintendo made games buy a Gamecube and if you like Online games buy an Xbox.

If you plan on continuing to play videogames, definitely keep PS2. The game library is diverse and there are several high quality games on PS2. It would certainly be my second choice of console (after GameCube).

I did and got an xbox. but i held on to my memory card becuase it had Gran turismo 3 90% completed

The only games I like on it now are Budokai (coming out for GCN), GTA, Kessen, and Shadow of Destiny. And can you tell me what PS2 games I would like that are coming out (remember im a sega fanboy and have ALL 3 systems)

do what you want, if you feel that you are "getting out of video games" get out and get a car.
(But what i recommend is holding on to it. Sure now and for the next couple of years PS2's will be really common. But i guarantee that just like the Genesis and SNES it will become rare and you can sell it for a nice price, if you can find someone on Ebay...)

Gran Turismo 4 is the only reason to keep your PS2 from the list above. The next GTA will be just like Vice City, as in you'll get bored of it 3 months post-release.

wow, so you have all 3 consoles -- might as well keep it then and be satisfied knowing that you are able to get all games coming out, then sell it and regret it when another PS2 games comes out that you want . . yes, PS2 is a piece of crap, but hey, what else can i say . . .

PS2 has 3 GREAT developers with them... ROCKSTAR SQUARESOFT-ENIX and (Metal Gear Solid creators... dont no) if u dont like them then get rid of the system there is not much else to offer... also CAPCOM puts out some good ones once in awhile... what im forward to is Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy 11, Star Ocean-till the end of time, and some other RPGS - ya ull notice that i do like RPG's so thats why im with PS2, also i like most of the ROCKSTAR creations...

mind you this is my oppinion, so dont get mad at me if i missed a developers

If i where you, i would wait a year before you decide to sell your ps2. 'Cause by then, you'll have seen the likes of mgs3, ffX-2, castlevania, RE: outbreak,FF: online, possibly a hard drive, Socom 2, Ratchet & Clank 2, jak 2 ( im ot hyped for the last 2, but hey..)
