On February 23, Sega filed for trademarks for two new titles, presumably in the Shining series - "Shining Road" and "Shining Wind." No details are known about either of these titles.
It seems that Sega has been trying to revive the Shining name brand lately, although not with traditional Shining games. Shining Tears, an action RPG already released in Japan, is due out here in the US on March 22. Just a couple days after that, the Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance-style Shining Force NEO will be released in Japan.
Sega hasn't said anything about "Shining Road" and "Shining Wind," so for now all we have is their names. We'll be sure to let you know when any details arise.
