Remember that really short, inconspicuous snowboarding minigame in Final Fantasy VII?
It's now getting its own cell phone game, under the moniker Final Fantasy VII Snowboarding. Really.
If you remember anything about this little corner of FF VII proper, then you pretty much know what to expect here. The game looks and seemingly plays much like the original: choosing from three course difficulties, you (as Cloud) race down a snowy mountain, collecting balloons and avoiding moogles (both of which increase in number the higher in difficulty you get). The game looks markedly worse than it did on the PS1 back in 1997, but that's pretty much to be expected (considering it's a cell phone game). The game's music is apparently a pretty infectious mix of the timeless Chocobo theme, though, so that alone might be worth the price of admission...
