View Full Version : I'm going to E3!

I think...I hope....I submitted my application today. I'll be getting my pass in the mail sometime in late April or early May. Plus, my mother's cousin lives in LA, so I don't even need to pay for a hotel room. My only possible problems are:
1. My last final is on the first day of the expo, but I'm gonna start working on my professor right away to let me take it early.
2. I can't really afford a plane ticket....I'm kind of putting all of my eggs in one basket here, I'm relying on my PSP eBay auction to bring in a nice hunk of change for me.
So here's hoping....if everything plays out the way I want it to, I'll be at E3 this May! I'm so pumped!!! :headbang:

My plane ticket was only $169 and it was round trip then again I did book it way in advanced.

Thank you very much for the offer, but I have to wait until I sell my PSP before I buy a plane ticket. I won't know how much I can afford until then. But if things don't work out it won't be a big deal anyway, as I got the pass for free and won't have any hotel reservations to cancel or anything.

I'll get back to you though after I sell my PSP at the end of the month...if the offer still stands then.

What do you do to be able to go? Dont you have to be like a reviewer or some kind of media guy?

You have to be 18, and you have to provide 2 forms of proof that you are affiliated with the electronics entertainment industry. I work at EB Games, I submitted my W2 form and a paycheck stub, so I qualified for the free package, which covers just the floor show. You can also pay to go to the conferences etc.

Well it's not like they announce to all their employees that you can go.

But E3 is actually pretty easy to get into, which is why I'm going this year too! :D
