NNow Weekly User Poll - Week 2

Once again, the Nintendo Now Weekly User Poll. The results article for Week 1 will probably be posted late tomorrow.

For anyone who missed Week 1, here's the lowdown: You cast your vote in the poll, and say whatever you want in the thread, and after one week (ending Friday evenings) I will post the results formally in an article on NNow, along with my opinion, and maybe some quotes from this thread. (note that I reserve the right to edit your quote slightly). Also, PMme if you have an idea for a new poll.

Do you subscribe to any gaming magazines?

I once collect the Official Australian Nintendo magazine called NMS. But they stopped all of a sudden for no reason. My brother collected all of the Nintendo Gamer mags but they stopped as well. At the moment I don't have any subscriptions but would like Nintendo Aus to release NMS again, it was a great mag.

There are 2 kinds of game power in the universe...
Theres Nintendo Power and NNow, magazine and site respectively. Combined together I get my fix on Nintendo without having to resort to drugs..or IGN.

I also had the Official Playstation magazine, but that was before in the long long ago when I was stupid. Who would own that now when I got NNow and NP? :P

I'm actually getting my old friend's magazine delivered to my house....but I don't know what his cell phone number is so I can't tell him...

Magazines suck though, Internet is way faster, and actually worth reading.

I read some gaming magazines at bookstores. I mostly subscribe to PC/Mac magazines. I need to stay up on technology working in IT.

I susbscribe to an Australian mag called 'Hyper'. Its good cause its multi platform and its really cheap. (A$50 for the year). I would get a Nintendo only mag, but i couldnt be fucked. Also, i got this because i like to read things in the morning while i have breakfast, so a magazine like this is always good.

I used to subscribe to Nintendo Power, but then i grew up and they got too "cute" for my taste, although i want to resubscribe to them now becuase they are much much much more improved and mature. I recently subscrubed to EGM, becuase although i have my own personal opinions about them being bias certain time (DS v PSP) , i still think they are a great mag. I used to subscribe to GMR which i thought was a good mag, and i never came across anything i saw as bias - they were the only multiplatform mag to make a tribute to nintendo. Its a shame EB pulled the plug on em.

Multi-platform.

My only current subscription is to IGN. In the past I've subscribed to PC Gamer, Electronic Gaming Monthly, Computer Gaming World and Game Informer. I had a brief stint with Nintendo Power in the 80's. Whenever I go to Barnes & Noble or Borders though, I always browse through whichever game magazine I can find.

However, if I could pick one of those rags that was actually worth my money, I'd stick with PC Gamer. The greatest games will always be on the PC. :heybaby:

i dont bother subscribing to anything. my bro has subscriptions to Hyper and PCPowerplay so i just read those mainly for some reviews. then i just browse through EGM, Cube, and GamesTM while i'm at the newsagent and buy them if there's anything that i want to read. i find that most times there isnt anything in the mags worth paying for.
