How Long is too Long? (WWE)

Over the past 2-3 years you've seen the same champion OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Triple H. Hes one of the best of all time, but he still shouldn't hold the title for over 3 year snow. C'mon. You gotta pass of the title sometime. They're also doing the same thing to JBL who has had the WWE Championship for over 260+ days. The WWE makes it so Triple H can beat anyone whether hes 4'0" or 7'0". It's ridiculous. But we all know Batista is going to have a cinderella story winning the rumble, and walking out Wrestlemania 21, the World Heavyweight Champion.

The problem isn’t that HHH has had the title so long. The problem is that he never leaves. HHH looses the title periodically and when he does he just comes back and gets another title shot at the next ppv. This causes a routine to build with only the person that he’s facing creating change. Now I agree he has had the belt to long, the guys like a pit bull, he’s got his teeth into the business and he won’t let go until till its dead. See alot of champs take time off after loosing their titles at a major event whether it’s voluntary or involuntary. When they do it lets new story lines and new face off’s happen. Basically he’s stagnating the company.

batista doesn't have a chance in hell.i know he's a 6'5 320+ pound animal that'll tear hunter to shreads.you know how hunter said he would beat batista within an inch of his life?well,i think its true because when hhh said he'd do something,when has he ever not done it?plus if it wasn't for hhh batista wouldn't be going to wrestlemania,and sure as hell wouldn't be the number one contender for triple h's world title.and as for him holding the world title to long,it's the best thing to ever to happen in all of sports and entertainment.

The reason why we keep seeing HHH is simply because they split apart their resources when they had the roster split. Roster split needs to die.

Having a champ that long establishes their character as being unbeatable and unstopable. When someone is allowed to beat the champ that someones character is elevated beyond what they were before.

But I do agree they need to have the Championships change more.

Ted Dibiase is an Agent and part of the Creative Team or will be anyhow. Maybe these old school wrestlers can liven the show up. They also need to cut the religious crap out of the characters like HBK. However, I don't see that happening with the likes of Ted in the creative team.

just because hunter lossed his match at last years wrestlemania doesn't mean he's going to loose at this years.plus,like i said before,if it wasn't for hunter,batista wouldn't be were he is,and he wouldn't be at wrestlemania.also, hunter is the one that created batista,he knows him inside and out.so,thats why i say batista has no chance in hell at beating hunter at the next wrestlemania.

Wrestlign used to be funny (Stone Cold, The Rock) and even before that (DX). I loved wrestlign back than ... now it's just not amusing :(

I remember Hogan holding the title for a long time back in the day of the WCW. It may have been one champion for a long time, but they made that story awesome.

....because he sucks? he wrestles twice a month and every match is the same, few punches, backdrop, face buster, knee to face, kick to calf, figure 4, pedigree 1,2,3 no one kicks out of the move which Ultimate Warrior stood up from at Wrestlemania....sucks

not all of his matches are like that.i mean just watch his matches with mankind,the rock,stone cold,and kane.now that was more than just a few punches,a backdrop,face buster,knee to the face,kick to the calf,figure 4,the pedigree,and the 1,2,3.
