Adult Swim Becomes It's Own Entity

Officially at the end of March, Adult Swim will split from Cartoon Network at the end of March, thus officially becoming its own entity. It will share the same basic cable channel, running at different times of the day. This concept is not new mind you. The "Nick" network originally started the idea clear back when it first split into three separate entities: Nick Jr, Nickelodeon, and Nick At Night. Look for changes in the way the format is run coming soon.

I miss Wolf's Rain. I managed to watch the last 60% of it and the first few episodes but missing a gap in the middle.. it is a very moving show..

Trigun is ok, but not really doing it for me as a replacement..

dont get me wrong, though, I like Trigun.. I think yall dont like Wolf's rain because you didnt have the attention span to pay attention and figure out what was going on.. It has a much more serious tone to it than almost anything else on Adult Swim, though (except maybe Stand Alone Complex)


Also, outlaw you are full of crap, lol. They did not say fuck, cock, or shit, or else they woulda had to pay mega $$$ fines from the fcc. Adult Swim isnt on HBO, you retard! Im not sure about the other ones, im sure theyve said bitch and ass plenty of times though.

Never got into Wolfs rain, i just couldn't stand the color scheme, just like i couldn't stand Beebops, but at least Beebop was soooo cool and full of style. About the split, as long as they give me good anime and i'm happy, get some Eva, Escaflowne, Raxephon, Berzerk, Outlaw Star(I know they showed this before but this show owns!), the uneditited Yu-Yu-Hakusho(Never understood why they took it off in the first place), etc.

^i thought Wolf's and Cowboy's style was perfect, although i never saw enought of Wolf's Rain.

I gave up on cable anime awhile ago, no matter how much they try to leave in things still get cut. Good place to "demo" a series out though.

They can say that. The same way Comedy Central had the unedited version of South Park. They said fuck cock bitch freely. Even wrote it on the wall. CN can do that. Look at Sealab or Aqua Teen.

Yeah, me too, i was like wtf is girl doing in a suitcase? Easily one of the best animes i have ever seen, imo, a lot better then Beebop, since they are so darn similar.

Cowboy bebop is greatly overrated. Inyusha is rambling fluff, it doesnt hardly make since. I actually like Trigun, but it is a little nonsensical at times. Wolf's Rain is one of the few shows on AS that got me attached to the characters.. but you have to watch 4-5 episodes before you can even figure out what is going on. You obviously never figured that out.. thats ok tho.


Canwe at least agree that Milk Chan and Tom Goes to the Mayor suck major ass?

Also, I heard it myself, on Comedy Central, the words fuck ashit and such. Couple weeks ago around 1 or 2 in the morning they had the unedited version of the South Park movie. Mr Garrison even wrong the damn words on the chalkboard. The canadians, Phil and the guy said that shit in their stupid movie. I'm definetly sure that they can do it. Cartoon Network can definetly do it.
