The Bad Gamer Game

Okay, so most of us buy games, and never finish them, some of us even buy games and never play them for even an hour, heck, some of you may even have shrink-wrapped games.. So here's the deal, it's a little game, you'll get points for how bad of a gamer you are. (In terms of playing). It has nothing to do with your skill.

Here's what you get points for. (High points are bad!)

Shrink-wrapped - 10 points
Game Bought (not pre-ordered) and not played - 7 points
Game Played For 2-5 hours - 3 points
Game Played For Less Than 2 hours - 5 Points
Non-Finished Game - 1 points

So go through your games, or if you're lazy, just 1 particular system, and see how many points you're at. I'll update the list every couple of days, but you of course must provide the amount of points you have, as well as the games, and their point values.

Example.

If you own Halo, and have only played 3 hours (roughly), you'd have 3 points, add in Mario 64, which you have bought, but never played, you'd have 7 points.. Adding up to a total of 10 points.

The point of this thread is to get your money's worth in your games, and to get you to get off your lazy ass and finish them!

Shit, anyone who can complete a Turok game has my respect.. not that they're hard, I just hate the games..

yeah they get boring very very boring, but this one actually wasn't a massacre all the way through, it was pretty fun most of the time

My total would be to high to calculate, since I have barely beat 8 of my 36 next-gen games, and since 3 are still in plastic, and since like 15 of my games have only been played between 1 and 4 hours (I don't play very often).

I've been playing video games since '83 with the Atari and Collecovision but I probably didn't beat any of those but of the games I remember I had I have 7 points from that era. I have had only one other game that I did not complete, Tetris, but then again, you don't 'complete' Tetris but I'll count its point.

Do you get points for beating rented games, especially back when you only got them for 2 days?

No points for rented games, you must own the game.

And buying a game, then returning it to the store counts as nothing, since you don't own the game anymore.

A suck ass game? Add one point for buying a stupid game but subract 2 for taking it back. Fair enough?

There is no way I'm gonna give you my score. It would be far too much work. So I'll just guesstimate. At last count (the games in my sig) I had about 250. Prolly about a 70 have less then 5 hours play, another 30 not touched, even though I get random shots of inspiration and attempt to bet them all I still haven't so I'll say I've beaten 100, and I even have 2 wrapped: Fighting Vipers for Saturn and Pokemon Puzzle League for 64. So quick math for ya:
70x3=210
30x7=210
2x10=20
100x5=500
so about 980. I didn't add in the points for the unfinished games.
